Development and Marketing Associate
Location: Remote
Contract: 2.5 days a week; 18-months with view to become ongoing
Salary: $70,000/year FTE plus 12% super ($78,400 package) and eligible for tax exemption.

We are seeking a dynamic and creative marketer to join our team and make a significant impact on our fundraising efforts. As a marketer, you will play a vital role in raising funds for our organisation through various channels, including social media, events, website content, and newsletters. This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your marketing skills to make a meaningful difference in our mission.
Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to raise funds and increase effective giving.
- Use social media, Adwords and other platforms to create engaging campaigns that promote effective giving, attract potential donors and drive donations.
- Organise and coordinate fundraising events, from planning to execution, to maximise participation and generate funds.
- Create compelling and persuasive content for our website and newsletters, highlighting our mission, impact, and fundraising initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimise results.
What we’re looking for

- Proven experience in marketing, preferably in fundraising or nonprofit sectors.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, content creation, SEO, and engagement strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing campaigns.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Passion for our mission and dedication to making a positive impact in the community.
