EAGxAustralasia Conference

EAGxAustralasia is Australia and New Zealand’s largest conference for people who want to do the most good they can. For 10 years, it has brought together students, professionals, researchers and organisations working on some of the world’s most pressing problems.

The 2026 conference will be held 27-29 November at Melbourne Connect, Melbourne.

Over 2.5 days, you’ll hear talks and join workshops on high-impact cause areas, meet potential collaborators and employers through 1:1 meetings, and connect with 300+ compassionate, analytical people from across Australasia who share your commitment to using evidence and reason to do good effectively.

Learn more at our official event page and join our mailing list so that you’re first to hear when applications open.

What is EAGx?

EAGx (Effective Altruism Global X) is a series of independently organised conferences that bring the ideas of effective altruism to local and regional communities worldwide. These events are inspired by and affiliated with the larger Effective Altruism Global (EAG) conferences but are tailored to specific geographic areas or focus topics. See a list of other global events here.
EAGxAustralasia is part of this global network, focusing on the unique challenges and opportunities in the Australia-New Zealand region while connecting participants to the broader global EA movement.
