Expression of Interest – Volunteer Blog Writer
Effective Altruism Australia is looking for a volunteer blog writer to help craft compelling content and share impactful stories across our digital platforms.
Our goal is simple: make it easier for people to discover, understand, and act on the most effective ways to do good. From deep-dives into global priorities to donor stories and educational resources, thoughtful writing can dramatically increase engagement and make high-impact giving more accessible. This role is ideal for someone who wants to use their writing skills for meaningful impact, contributing to a mission-driven ecosystem focused on solving the world’s most pressing problems.
What you might work on
Depending on your interests and availability, projects could include:
- Translating complex research and effective altruism concepts into clear, accessible blog posts.
- Writing engaging articles about our recommended high-impact charities and global cause areas.
- Drafting impact stories, donor spotlights, or community features.
- Updating and refining existing educational guides, resources, and FAQ content.
- Pitching creative content ideas that align with our mission and resonate with a broad audience.
